Urban Shamans Academy is the fruit of a dream dreamt decades ago.
The intention is to guide the ones that have set on their own journeys and to train masters of life.
It’s formation of guidance to whom intent to come back together at the fire of life and live the medicine in urban life.

About

Felis Kohen

Felis has started her own journey in many places of the world on modern and ancient wisdoms and working on her own. She had combined the techniques she was taught with her own experiences over the years and shared them through circles, workshops, ceremonies and one-to-one sessions.

She had received mastership on NLP and Chinese Quantum Methods in Germany, and worked with local medicine people of Bali and India. Alberto Villoldo, Berta Kühnel, Don Francesco and Peter Bonaker are some of her masters.

Felis blended the wisdom of her roots with her own wisdom of transformation and founded Urban Shamans Academy to bring up medicine women and medicine men. She conveys the art of healing to those who want to change themselves and to be the practitioners of that wisdom.

Along with the circles and workshops, she does one-to-one sessions,collaborates with national and international colleagues and organizes custom made individual and corporate workshops.

ANCIENT TRANCE DANCE

It is a form of ancient tradition of dance done with free body movements; performed in a special sacred space with special music.

WORKSHOPS ABROAD

These are the workshops in Peru, Israel and Bali hold during specific times of the year. Sacred places that have been home to ancient wisdom are visited, ceremonies are held and wisdom is passed on through traditional ways.

Amaç Öner

As a person who grew up as an engineer and tried to solve every aspect of his life with a system approach, he received the first signs that life could not be perceived in this way during his university years. In the following years, he was interested in information and teachings from different sources in order to understand life.

The process that opened with his meeting with the Munay Ki teaching deepened his journey into himself. Afterwards, he completed Felis Kohen's Circle of Life and Advanced Medicine Wheel studies. He realized that life is not for understanding, but for living by feeling. He continued with the Circle of Guides in order to be instrumental in helping others experience the transformation in her life. He believes that with each circle, people are transformed, healed and life is balanced and the balance is formed with individual sessions, Men's Circle and Circle of Life.

Neriz Başıran

After the first shamanic session she experienced in 2017, she joined the Circle of Life; Her own transformation, the transformations of the friends she walked with, and the guidance she received from her master, Dona Felis, affected her deeply. After the Circle of Life, she completed the Advanced Medicine Wheel and then the Circle of Guides to become a practitioner. While experiencing the excitement of sharing what she has learned so far and her experiences with people who are spiritually seeking for their own transformation and who want to experience an alternative method, through individual sessions and the Circle of Life, she continues her own journey.

Zeynep Dönmez

She met shamanic science in 2019. From that moment on, that science became an integral part of her life. At first while she was struggling between her profession, family responsibilities and what she knew as "I", the science melted them all in one pot and built a one and complete life, and continues to do so... After experiencing the transformative power of the Circle of Life, she completed the Circle of Medicine and Guide's Circle. With the excitement of sharing knowledge, Zeynep gives individual sessions, acts as a Circle of Life guide and organizes ceremonies.

Bahar Akyuz

When she realized that the same science exists all over the world and accepted the valuable teaching of life, she started to get to know the valuable guides and masters she came across one by one. In 2007 , Tai Chi with Master Ng , after the Yoga Sadhana practices she did on holiday in the same year, she felt the desire to go deeper in ancient sciences and continued. She met Felis Kohen in 2017, became his student; She graduated from Life and Medicine Circles. When she got stronger in wanting that everything she learned, knew and developed in the name of goodness and beauty should be a sound, she finished the Circle of Guides and took a hand from her teacher. She gives individual sessions, workshops and Circle of Life at Urban Shamans Academy as a yoga instructor, Ayurvedic counselor, Storytelling Therapist, Personal Transformation Guide with Nature, Medicine woman.

Nida Şahin

Caner Öngay

Started his professional life with his childhood dream, interior architecture. Years later he realized that something was not quite right in his life. This search led him to cross paths with his mentor, Dona Felis Kohen. In the journey he started to transform his own troubles, he saw that the road became brighter as he also shared. Thus, right after completing the Circle of Life, he continued his journey of transformation and service with Advanced Circle of Medicine. After that, he took one step deeper more in the knowledge and completed the Guide's Circle. Lastly, he received the authorisation of guidence for the Circle of Medicine and started to hold space for the Great Circle, which unites all circles. Currently, he is holding space for the Great Circle, the Circle of Life, the Circle of Medicine, private sessions and various workshops.

Pelin Buğra

The journey that started with music turned into an adventure of self-discovery. Once she had the pleasure of learning and teaching, she received different trainings on spiritual matters. The biggest step she took in her journey of deepening was the participation of her master Felis Kohen, whose name she heard in a conversation in 2019, in the Circle of Life. She continued with the Advanced Medicine Wheel to touch the lives of others after the circle that transformed her whole life. At the same time, she received Cocoa Apprenticeship Training from Kübra Saatçıoğlu. Now she gives cocoa ceremonies accompanied by her own music. As she transformed in knowledge, she listened to the incoming call and completed the Circle of Guides training. She now gives individual sessions and Circle of Life to contribute to the transformation of other lives. We know; If you transform, the world transforms.
